Our R & D studio was challenged with the idea of creating a chair with magnified comfort while maximizing design potential including material usage.  The Dadash lounge chair evolved into a solution for a lounging experience.

Industrial designer Mohammadamir Safari’s first project for Vintage Industrial represents a complex creative process disguised in simplicity – “the interaction between me and plain paper was not about drawing on it, but rather about the importance of how to cut and shape it”. Instilled with the love of his late brother’s favorite ideation technique, this method of design is known as continuous surface or continuous architecture. This indoor/ outdoor lounger is formed from a single piece of sheet metal; two cuts and 5 brakes enhance its subtle beauty.
