We had a client looking for a couple custom benches to fit their dining table. These are made from 2″ ash hardwood milled down to 1.75″ and finished with a medium stain that we weather to bring out the grain, plus a restaurant ready clear coat. The steel connecting tubes and hardware has a natural steel finish. We reinforce the corners with steel hardware underneath and use extra large dowels to join the pieces which means it should last a very long time. Don’t leave these outside though, they are meant to be indoors. Also they can be refinished over the years if necessary.
